Primary School Competition

We recently held a competition at Locharbriggs Primary School and Noblehill Primary School, as part of a Health & Safety campaign we are running in conjunction with the refurbishment and extension works currently taking place within the schools.
After presenting to both schools about site safety, making the children aware of potential site hazards and discussing the importance of PPE and site signage, we asked pupils from each school to design a Health & Safety poster that would raise awareness of the possible dangers onsite.Pupils were encouraged to take part in the competition with the incentive of winning vouchers for Fusion trampoline park and the winning posters would also be displayed at both sites. When the competition closed last week, the entries were so good that we couldn’t choose just one winner from each school, we had to choose two! We’d like to say a massive well done to Lukas of P6-7 and Brooke of P5 from Locharbriggs PS and to Alexa of P4 and Quinn of P1 from Noblehill PS for their winning entries. We’re sure you’ll all agree that we have some future Health & Safety executives in the making!
